About this place
The Paseo Bolívar is the main pedestrian artery of Barranquilla's historic center, an area designated a National Cultural Heritage Site. Stretching several blocks from the Plaza San Nicolás, it's packed with street art galleries, Republican-era buildings, the Mercado de San Andresito, vendors selling traditional food, and the unmistakable energy of the Barranquilla coast. During Carnival, the Paseo turns into a stage for parade groups and festivities.
