About this place
More than 70 large-format murals across 48,440 sq ft (4,500 m²), painted by 40-plus artists. Themes include Carnival (marimondas, negritas puloy, congos), local figures (García Márquez, Joe Arroyo), the river, and heritage. The neighborhood was declared a District Cultural Heritage Site (BIC) in 2021. It's also home to the Casa del Carnaval, the Museo del Carnaval, and the Cervecería 315 brewery.
