About this place
The Museo del Atlántico is a cultural venue dedicated to safeguarding the department's history and culture. It has an auditorium seating 450 people, art exhibition halls, and the Museo de Historia Natural del Caribe y el Atlántico. From 1921 to 1963 it served as the seat of the Gobernación del Atlántico, until then-governor Próspero Carbonell McCausland moved the seat to another building.
