Playa Turipana, in Tubará, has light-colored sand, nearby mangroves, and moderate surf, and is part of the Centro Recreacional Turipana, a popular stop on the Vía al Mar between Cartagena and Barranquilla. It offers pools, restaurants, and a camping area for a full day or an overnight stay. Tips: it's very close to Skydive Caribe (skydiving) and Puerto Velero, great for combining activities. Getting there: 45 minutes from Barranquilla via the Vía al Mar.
