About this place
The Plaza Central de Usiacurí is the heart of the town, known for its local iraca-palm craftwork. Surrounded by colonial houses, it offers cultural immersion with markets selling woven bags and hats. The statue of La Musa Tejedora (the Weaver Muse) is a great photo spot. Tips: Visit the market on weekends; pair it with the Casa Museo Julio Flórez. Getting there: From Barranquilla, take a bus to Usiacurí (45 min). Open all day.
