Puerto Velero is the most complete nautical complex in Atlántico: a marina in Tubará with room for hundreds of boats, a sailing school, kayak rentals, and year-round kitesurfing classes — thanks to its steady winds, it's one of the best spots in Colombia to learn. More than 25 restaurants line its coast, along with villas and stilt houses where you can stay right over the water. Tips: book kitesurfing lessons ahead of time during peak wind season (December to April).
Getting there: 45 minutes from Barranquilla, Km 78 Vía al Mar, Tubará.
