About this place
The Asociación de Artesanas Unidad de los Límites brings together the work of 32 women from the Los Límites rural district in Luruaco who, with support from the Proyecto Tití Foundation and the Gobernación del Atlántico, traded forest logging and tamarin hunting for beautiful handmade bags made from plastic bags and other recycled material. Since 2017, they've also offered community-based tourism, with agrotourism tours to spot howler monkeys, tamarins, and birds.
