The beach
Pure history: the Puerto Colombia Pier (1888) was once the second-longest in the world — the immigrants who shaped Colombia's Caribbean came through here. Today it's part of the Malecón del Mar waterfront, home to the Centro Gastronómico Internacional food hall and the Sazón Market. And there's La Ventana de Sueños, South America's tallest lighthouse (70 m, built 2023). For surfers, El Muelle serves up fast, hollow waves over a sand bottom — some of the best in the Caribbean.
