About this place
The Museo Arqueológico de Galapa (MUGA) was conceived as a space of respect, equity, freedom, and inclusion that fosters both social and cultural human development. Located in the Barranquilla metropolitan area, MUGA has recovered more than 5,000 significant pieces of pottery, stonework, goldwork, and skeletal remains belonging to the Tayrona, Zenú, and Mokaná cultures.
