Cerro de la Vieja

Located in the department's highest town, this hill offers a medium-to-hard hiking route. The climb passes through tropical dry forest, where you can spot birds and reptiles. From the summit, on clear days, you can see all the way to the sea and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
